Imagine Cup - PFO Team??
 

I was at a XNA presentation at my unit today, well part of the presentation. I found out that Microsoft is having a big international competition. This is in different areas which you can find on the site. I am considering competing in it. They provide free software (XP,Vista,VS2005PRO and others). I thought I should let you guys know. There can be teams of 1-4, but there are other restrictions (You have to be attending school).

I'm surprised they won't be using VS 2008 by then...

I'd be interested if I was still in school... never could convince my friends to do anything...

That would be cool to do, but I have no time. But could you imagine how great it would be to put that on a resume, even if you didn't come first place or something?

Yeah, there is a SGIgame group at my university but I can almost never make the meetings... Maybe a PFO team would work out better :)

Does anyone know of any similar competitions open to professionals?

Basically try to register if you can, I already did. Also the teams are allowed to have a mentor.
