Testers Needed - Non-Paying(For Now)

Hey yall. I am about to release my third version of File Monitor. I would like to market this one, and I plan on bunching it with my CompControl. As of now, I need some testers to use my application, find any bugs, or ways to make it better or anything. The only thing is in the program I have a Regstiry key made, so it will startup on login. I have commented it out for the testers, but I would be willing to give out the code to a select few, who I interact with on the forum regularly, and know I can trust. I have it copyrighted under my name and my small business. Basically I just need the testers to run over the program, make sure it's secure find ways to get around it if there are any and whatnot. I can't pay yall right now. But anything I sell the testers will get 20% of each item sold. I need 5 testers, and they MUST be regulars on the PFO Community I'd say 175+ posts within the past year. I'm pretty lenient though, so I could probably take it down. The code is in vb.net, but it's all pretty self explanatory. I have it commented so even if you don't know vb.net the comments can point you in the right direction. Just get back to me, and I'll give you the program. Like I said, I will only give teh source to a select few, so they can look at it, and then post telling yall it's alright or w/e. Thanks again.

Count me in. I don't care about pay dude. I'm always about helping others.

Thanks king. I'm still working on user permissions, and then I'll PM you the program.

P.S. You have a .NET compiler?

I might be willing, bigguy (and I have VS.NET 2005 Pro). What is the program's purpose? I'm volunteering mainly out of curiosity; the pay doesn't much matter to me either (as I expect it to be negligible or zero).

I don't have much time lately but you can count me in.

I'd be glad to help out. I'm working in VB.NET right now so the code wouldn't be so confusing. But I'd be interested in seeing just what this app is for and how it works.

Well it started at as just something for my computer teacher in school to view all Files that had been Created, Edited, Renamed, or Deleted. But I decided to keep working on it, and now it does the same thing thing pretty much it always did, but it's prettier, has more options, like you can monitor more then one path, you can have it auto save the file log. It's nothing spectacular, and I dont plan on getting rich from it. Just a nice little tool to watch what your kids, or students or employee's are up to when you're not there. I should have it all up and running smoothly tonight, and I'll get it to yall.

Well I had hopes of attaching my files here. But for some reason I can't. Any ideas? I've posted attacments before, but now all the tool buttons dont work. I cant even add a smiley.
