Hey, I'm Spencer. I'm thirteen and I've been into programming for a year/year and a half. I started with HTML (I know, it's not really a programming language), and then I moved on to Python. I then quit programming for a few months so I had more time to spend playing guitar and writing music. I recently decided to get back into programming, this time with Java. I still make music, though (anything from alternative rock to funk to experimental to heavy metal).

I'm looking forward to learning a lot here at PF!

Welcome aboard. Any idea what kinds of applications do you want to write? Before you say 'games', realize this requires a fair amount of learning first.

And haha, no..I'm not much into game programming. I am, however, working on a hacking sim..but that's about it. Not too hard (I already had the base engine done but I didn't back it up when installing my new OS.) And I'm fully aware of the difficulty of programming games. As far as applications go, I'm into pretty much everything. I don't have any application projects though because I want to further my learning first. I hope to eventually create a Linux distro and a programming language. I know that those are very difficult tasks and that I don't have nearly enough knowledge, but those are just some of my goals.
