In my opinion this is a good, but not great, beginners C++ book.

This book doesn't cover the basics of C++ well enough, the author does an OK job at explaining the basics but is too quick to move onto the next topic. This book tried to cover Native C++, C++/CLI, and the Windows API. It would be better for the people who want something to reinforce their knowledge of C++ and/or learn C++/CLI and the Windows API.
