Perhaps you should explore a tad more deeply. If you saw a snake eating an ocelot, I would suggest that you found the wrong site.

lol... I had to go there just to see what you were talking about.. Thats got to be great for the newbies who type in the wrong address. Glad I never typed the wrong address during my python course.

I know I made that mistake the first time!!! Make sure you google it with safe search on and then you get the right page!

Unless your dad is a completely unreasonable prick, or you stayed on the page ogling the porn, he shouldn't be punishing you for something that wasn't your fault.

Tell him Python is a programming language, show him that it is (google 'python programming' or similar), and let him know you think he's being unreasonable. Don't be adversarial or antagonistic, though, as that will just piss him off. If you act like you're a mature individual, I think you'll find he'll be more likely to treat you like one.

This all assumes you're still under the grounding. If it's all over and done with, well, too bad- but at least you know for next time. You can save it as a 'get out of jail free' card for when you really are looking at porn, and he catches you. ;)

Thanks for the advice. Yeh it was a couple of months ago. He's not that bad generally and I think he was a bit tired. Oh well.
