Hacking Simulation Game

1 Attachment(s)
After 7 months of absolutely no connection to the internet, I can finnaly start programming again (can't afford books...)

I have started coding a hacking game, very simple at first but I intend to make it more complex as time goes by (of course, though, very unrealistic in comparison to real hacking). For the most part I am just remaking what I have seen in other hacking games such as 'Hacker Evolution' and changing it slightly to fit my desires. The main difference will be that I don't intend to make money...

I have only basic planning and some bits of C++ code so far, and a possible idea of what the game might look like (below).

Any suggestions or ideas appreciated.

This looks a lot like Uplink. I like the concept, though.

That's cool, Overmind. I've actually been planning on making the same type of game for quite some time now. Is it going to be open source?

Probably, but don't bank on being able to read my messy code...

That reminds me of the hacking side game in Enter the Matrix.

Haha, that's what got me into hacking simulation games.

Overmind, that's looks pretty cool. I'm looking forward to playing it when it's released!
