101 Ways To Help Save The Planet
 

Yes there will be drawbacks to all of them but I think it would be interesting to see lots of ideas on how to help save the planet.

1. Rich governments of the world should buy up rain forests from the likes of Brazil and Indonesia and protect them from illegal and excessive logging.

2. Develop more efficient hybrid cars.

3. Develop technology for alternate power with zero environmental effect.
4. Colonize space and relocate a portion of the population.

The problem with this is that, in addition to exploiters, there are just normal people destroying them because they like to eat, same as you.

While restrictions are important, in the face of a huge population, the best solutions will be developmental, not restrictive. If one can put a damaging technology out of business by bringing forth a newer, better, more profitable technology, then legislation isn't necessary. Economics will handle it.

I vote for posts like Reg's and IR's.

5. Have a revolving door which can generate electricity right on the rehab center where all the celebrities go.

Incidentally, this same post has been put, verbatim, on more than one forum. Maybe the guy needs hundreds of ideas or dozens of flames.

6. Lower pay cheques for politicians. The money should be put back into the country.

To join in on the mockery... why don't we just nuke the planet and start from scratch? :D

Now there's a bill that just might pass. hee hee
