Online College Course

I am deciding if I should take a course online for college. I would either take "College Composition I" or "Calculus and Analytic Geometry I". Does anyone have experience they would like to share about a online course they took while in college. Is it any good? Do you regret taking the course online?

I've taken a few online courses for lower division work. I'd definitely go with the English one online.

Definitely DO NOT take a math course online, especially first year calculus. There's some courses it's just better to be in a real classroom for.

Good advice. I will stick with Calculus in a classroom. Now, what about a history online?

In my opinion, try not to take an online class. I took ecology online in HS, it sucked. You couldnt talk to the teacher, you had to email them and it was just hard I think. Maybe you'd be better at it, but I harder than a normal class.

I've taken a history course online as well. It was really easy.

I have taken a class online. It is really nice for some courses. If you are still taking other courses on campus, then you can usually talk to the teacher.

DON'T take a math class online. I know someone has already warned you, but I just wanted to make sure! Some classes were meant to be taught in a classroom.

I've taken a few business classess online. Incredibly easy.
My wife is doing her entire Masters degree online.

Never take a math course online, if you are not already familiar with the material.
