Joomla

Ok, one really simple question, what the hell is Joomla? i see it all over freelance sites, and i dont know what it is.

Joomla is a content management system, It use to be Mambo (I think it is a fork of of Mambo actually with the original developers decided to change the name and get away from the company that owned the rights to the name mambo)
