not bad, but the flame war below the video is funnier!

The comments below show exactly how ignorant people really are these days.

I bet you that most of the comments are from people that spend far too much time on digg. Yes, that does imply I think people on digg are stupid trolls who love to flame.

Ever play Dig Doug? That was my favorite arcade game growing up as a kid.

lol, completely out of the blue, but comical.

I think the movie is amusing, but maybe its pointing out how macs are changing. Soon, it won't be any better/worse than windows. Each year, I move closer and closer to wanting to switch over to Linux completely.

I use Macs at work for testing, I hate them; I even hate more the people who use a mac and think they don't require a virus scanner; one day they will learn from that mistake.

What are you on about. I use a mac (and a PC) and I dont need a virus scanner on my mac because there are very few viruses out there and the ones that are around can't do much harm because of the way the security system works on OS X. You obviously have no clue about what you are on about. The only reason you might need one is on a server where it connevets to windows systems so it can prevent the transmission of viruses through things like email. I guess you will hate me now!

You may hate them and you have a right to that opinion but do you have any real reasons for that hate?

Well done Timmy, now go and research your viruses, like Elk Cloner, and what it infects.

Seriously, no-one is secure, you just may be less of a target!

Timmy Apr 3rd, 2007 10:02 AM

Elk Cloner is an Apple II virus. Not relevent to today really with OS X is it?

As I said it is good to have a virus scanner on things like email servers (be it Linux, OS X etc) as it stops the spreading of viruses even if it does not infect the server.

Most Mac OS X users do not have or require a virus scanner.

Ah sorry, misread your post! Indeed ignore my comments about the elk cloner.
Personally I err on the side of caution rather than to be sorry, but equally I don't frequently use a mac.
