newbie question - compiling

Hello..

What do I need to compile .NET project?

Can I do it with MSVC 2005?
If no, what would you recomment? MSVC .NET?

Well I use #Develop... its a C# IDE so it lets you design, compile, and debug all in one

And there is also Visual C# Express Edition.
