The Death of Saddam Hussein

I'd like to know what most of you think about the death of Saddam Hussein. Did he deserve his fate or was it simply wrong of the United States to go into a country and make decisions for another country.

I believe that the United States had the responsibility to go into the country and take the cruel dictator off of his throne. However, I don't believe that he deserved to be hung (a less painful death would suffice). We are a society that is changing and moving away from our primitive habits. Thus, why are we still resorting to killing someone by hanging?

What do you guys think about this one? Am I the only one here that is thinking this way? Note: It may be because I live in Canada. :p

Alright thanks for bringing that up. I saw this as a major historical mark and thus I wanted to bring it up. Well maybe a mod might be able to let this discussion go (due to its historical significance). Until then I guess we can let this thread fade away.

Yea, this topic is inherently political. Closed.
