So...what does this offer that makes it better than downloading with a web browser?

g3cka Jan 1st, 2007 2:49 PM

Auto updates to the downloaded content for example, easy management of all the content (less shortcut, but if you want, you can make them).
We're planning to add more features in the future.

Shoot, I don't let Microsoft unilaterally access my machine and update my files. To each his own, I guess. Incidentally, as a new member, did you read the forum's rules/FAQ? Just curious.

Well, I did. Did I violate any of the rules?..

Well, see, it's kind of like this. This is an online situation, and I don't know you. Suppose I wanted to make some kind of judgement about whether or not you're qualified to run a project. I might (perhaps unfairly) decide to judge you on whether or not I thought you could read and comprehend something simple, like

People like me, HR geeks, venture capitalists, etc., will, in the absence of concrete information, look for hints that someone drops along the way. Some, of course, will just take everything at face value. Good luck with your enterprise.

Don't worry to much g3cka, Dawei is very anal about everything. He's like the nagging ex-wife of the forum, you cannot forget to put the toilet seat down or the cap on the toothpaste around him or you will not hear the end of it.

@MicDareall: You are asking for it, aren't cha?

You don't have to ask for anything with Dawei, Even if you make no post pertaining to him, he will pm you nagging about the proper way to post on the forum. Like theres an international standard to formatting a forum post. All you have to do is read any reply of his and realize he is a little anal.

So why do you have to instigate something with DaWei? Since you know him well enough, why did you even bother posting that?
