Need Programmer for my website...
 

Hello, I am starting a company on the internet, and need a fluent programmer in php and mysql. I am good in the basics like CSS, HTML, and Actionscript, but have not learned PHP. I have a list of items that needs to be done, so if someone thinks they can do them all please email me at KansasPrep@gmail.com.


I also realize that this wont all be in PHP, but am not sure what is needed.

1. Login system that keeps them logged in until they choose to log out.
2. A system where people can submit their pictures from their hard drive to my email.
3. A shopping cart that I can add and take away stuff from.
4. A setup so that I can post a picture on it's own page, and people vote on it, and it keeps tracks of the number of votes, and allows only 1 vote per person. Averages the votes as well.
5. Finally, a comment system where people can comment on the same pics they vote on.

isnt this the PHP forums...? Where else would I post it. If you couldnt see, that was my first post ever on thsi forums, so I am not experienced in where to post these things. I went by I was asking for PHP help, so I went to the PHP forums.....

It would help to read to rules, or to scroll down to the bottom where it says "Job Offer Forum" or even the "Project Ideas" forum would have been an acceptable mistake for a new person. It helps to scroll down to the bottom of the page when looking for information.

Other than a shopping cart, everything on your list isn't really that hard. If you picked up a php book, I'm sure you could learn all th nessacities to make your little site. check out my review.

That book basically teaches you everything you need to know for your little project. If you can become a half decent programmer, you might be able to pull it off. Don't expect anyone here to code any of these for you. It isn't going to happen. Attempt it yourself, and we can help you with the problem solving. No one is going to jump into a project that isn't going anywhere. You haven't planned it right, and you're not experienced enough. You'd be smart to take it slow. Learn some skills, and then attempt your site. Sorry to say it, but we see people like you all the time.

No, trust me I have it planned really well. I stated a very broad idea of what is needed just because I don't want anyone knowing too much and stealing my site idea. It has happened to me before, so I am trying to prevent it from happening again. A lot of people have emailed me about this, and I have submitted a more detailed, yet need to know basis of what needs to be done, and most people are getting the idea of what they need to code. But thanx for the book reference, I will rpobably pick it up, and attempt some of this on my own.
