Hi to everyone

I want to do program in Delphi like the site www.venere.com.
That i want to do is to make my own database with some hotels.The user can search the desire location and find some hotels(the results should have a good looking page with the information and a foto).I don't want to put it on the web .I want to run from a CD or a local PC.What database i have to use and how;
I have to do it on HTML and the site then read the data from the database in Delphi or i have to do only an .exe;
