If you can get into BIOS there is a setting for which graphics card should be used if you used integrated or PCI cards before. You might have to select AGP or PCI-E slot.

This could be a number of problems, simply saying "it dosent work" does not help! First off plug in your monitor to an outlet and turn it on without the computer, and make sure the monitors not broken.

wizard_1988 the card was just working fine i have just reinstalled windows on this PC and it was running ok.

AntiNinja the monitor is not broken and it works well.

i advice you not to open up your monitor, from what i seen in an controlled class experiment it was pretty dangerous, unless you have the know-how then please be very caucious. And you did not clearly state what the problem was.

i have opened up a monitor, you do have to be careful but if you know about potentiometers you should be fine, adjust those babies to change the picture

however you dont need to do that with your problem you need a clean reinstall. this has happened to my friends be4.

Ignore the potentiometers and put your finger on that huge capacitor (presuming a CRT). This will stand your hair straight out on end, so that your barber has an easy job of it. Make sure that you have already had all the children you care to have.

i'll keep that in mind DaWei :)
