Certification choices

Hi everyone,

My company can a few deals with Dell computers, and therefore I can get a few certifications paid for by my company. My question to you is, which one of these should I try to get? I am going to start with one, and if I can get it, I'll go for a second. I'm looking for something that either deals with Networking or Linux, and somehting that will actually be worth having. So, which two do you guys reccomend?

Thanks

Certs

Make sure to click the certifications tab!

If you dont have it already then do the A+ certificate and if you are intersted in Linux then get your Linux+ too.

MCSE might be useful too but if you are not planning on becomming a Windows Server Admin then its pointless.

Network+ and Server+ might be better as they are vendor neutral so what you will learn will apply to a wider amount of systems.

If it were me then i would do the A+ and then Linux+ or Network+.

Best of luck.

Ionno too much about certs, but you could get one from RedHat.

I think I might go for A+ first, then go and do Linux+. Is this a good idea?
