Hi folks,
Please advise how to add 'bold', 'italic', 'colour', etc. such features to the printout. Can HTML syntax work on perl? I tried seeming not applicable. TIA B.R. satimis |
..... eh? Sorry but I do not understand what you are asking.
If you are using perl to print to a website, or produce HTML code... than just print out your HTML tags for the formatting that you desire. If you are using Perl on a console you will need to make sure that you console is capable of displaying colours and find out the proper ascii sequences to pass to the console to produce the effects that you are looking for. I was not aware that you could italicize fonts on a console though, or even bold them.... though I do know that you can change their colours fairly well. |
