sqm files
my C drive root is littered with .sqm files from Windows Live Messenger. Apparently the geniuses in MS decided that it is a wise decision to crap a file out to C:\ whenever needed. Today only I deleted 15 of them, they'll come back gradually I’m sure. Anyone has a work-around?

Don't use Windows Live Messenger?

They're "Service Quality Monitor" data collection timer files created from Windows Live Messenger or windows vista

@Samuaijack: so there's no way to stop them? |
Well the only thing i know that if you have the customer Experience Improvment Program in your messenger activated...deactivate it
i hope it helps. |
