Programming Forums - Hey I'm Josh

I just thought i would introduce myself to you all.

As you might have guessed by now my name is Josh. :)

I am half Canadian and half English. I was born in Vancouver but I moved to England when i was five so I dont really remember much about Canada. I have been back there a few times but I feel that I am English.

Some people I know say I have a weird sense of humor so if I make no sense sometimes its probably meant to be a joke. I am starting a computer science degree in three weeks. I am a little worried that everyone will know lots more about programming than I do when I start so I thought I might join some forums on programming so that maybe I will pick up some new things. I am not the most intelegent person in the world either. I had to resit my second year of A-Levels to get a place at the local universiy. So thats why am am 19 and not 18 like most people when they finnish their A-Levels.

I have been programming for about a year. I have learned some java and i have just started looking into C#. I dont know if i will be much help with solving other peoples problems to start with and so will probably ask for more help than i give.

I am not a linux geek(never even installed it) and I have never used a Mac so I will probably come across as ignorant when it comes to things other than Windows. I have no idea what C or C++ is and I only found out there was such a thing today so I really am a total novice. I never get into arguments with people so if i say something and you disagree i probably wont reply back unless I think you are crazy.

I wont bore you for much longer so i will finnish by saying hello. :)
