I don't know shit about Assembly except that it is very hard, Congrats man!

Wizard1988 Aug 16th, 2006 11:00 PM

First of all Congrats!
@king: Its not that hard. You should try it:) i suggest using WinAsm with MASM32

AntiNinja Aug 16th, 2006 11:03 PM

But it looks so hard :(. But then again didnt we all say that when we first started programming? Anywho congrats Edgar.

What is the advantage of using this very low level programming level? My college offers Assembly language course and I am very redundant whether I should take it or not.

Congratulations.

??

Perhaps finding out what a word means before applying it might be the better approach.

I am not a proffesional programmer but I tend to toy around with assembly. It gives you a better Idea of what really goes on behind the scenes, which I find really interesting.

I just read what I read and it didn't make much sense...:o Here is what I meant.
"I am constantly changing my mind about whether I should take that course or not."

@Wizard1988: What is assembly used for these days? A lot of these new generation language tend to take care of a lot without giving much detail.

Well, the literal interpretation of your sentence might be:

Quote:

My college offers Assembly language course and I am very [exceeding what is necessary or normal] whether I should take it or not.
Perhaps the word 'unsure' would have worked better in the sentence. (Please don't take this the wrong way, I just like to use words correctly and help others do so :p )

ReggaetonKing Aug 16th, 2006 11:53 PM

lol, I don't take this to offense at all. It's actually funny. Anyways, back to this guy's text! Congrats again man!
