website design appraisal
 

ok i made a new website that i think is a bit better than my last one. only judge the design as i tried to keep it streamlined and simple without the boxy 'table' look and without using too many colors, like the mac 'white' look. anyway the pages arent done yet and some pages are duplicates to keep the design (content will change later) and i dont think this one is bad enough to kill andro :D like the last one was.

The design looks a lot more simplistic (and clean). I've no complaints about bgcolor or text color. About your forum: I'd suggest a link from the forum back to your home page. If there is one, I missed it. Also, I'd recommend being a bit more limiting on avatar sizes... large avatars waste screen real estate.

I like the buttons, easy on the eyes (quite plain thou). Maybe get rid of that annoying Dot TK bar.

Needs a bit of work, but that's ok because your still going. Remember that forums are useless without a community. Anyone who can setup and run PHP/Mysql can have forums. It's the people that count. Keep that in mind. I might recommend saying that perhaps forums should be left until a later date. Perhaps start with a news letter? But that's up too you. Design is OK in my opinion. I get horizontal scroll bars on my resolution(1280X1024). Needs some more content too, but as I said, it's ok because your still workin at it. Anyways, put some more work in to it and poast back. And btw, I agree with Jimbo about the extremly large avatars:p

how large is large? right now i allow 200X200
o i have 1600X1200 res thats why they look small LOL i should look at em through my bro's comp @ 800X600...
