if you guys do not have "stumbleupon" I highly recommend it, its my favorite.

http://www.stumbleupon.com/

what it does is gives you a toolbar with a button called "stumble" on it, prior to clicking this you set up what type of sites you like "games, programming, etc, etc" and then when you click stumble it brings up a site in the categories you signed up for that someone else recommended. you also rate thumbs up or thumbs down whether or not you like it, which is why most of the pages you come across are very good, they are rated by thousands of people.

provides hours and hours and hours of entertainment. I stumble all night long sometimes and never get bored. you can also recommend sites of your own for other people to stumble into.

I've found so many sites that i never would have ever found without this.

here's a complete list of categories you can subscribe to stumble into:

activism · alternative-news · animals · animation · arts · astronomy · bizarre · blogs · books · cartoons · cats · comics · computer-graphics · computer-hardware · computers · cooking · cyberculture · drawing · fine-arts · graphic-design · history · humor · illusions · internet · linguistics · linux · movies · multimedia · music · network-security · online-games · open-source · philosophy · photography · physics · politics · programming · psychology · satire · science · science-fiction · self-improvement · software · stumblers · travel · video · video-games · web-design · windows · writing ·

i also like the IETab add-on, i've come across several sites which just will not work withough internet explorer, so you store the URL in your IETab and it will open a new tab with that site in IE right into your firefox next time you go there. also good for developers to look at your site in both IE and Firefox at the same time to make sure it looks good in both.

BTW, do you guys think that from now on when you post an extension you can give a quick description. I'm not familiar with all of those but may be interested in trying some out. don't really feel like looking them up one at a time.

Adblock Plus and Adblock Filterset.G Updater - Automatic ad blocking
PasswordMaker - Uses a master password as the salt for a hash to generate new passwords on a site-by-site basis
GooglePreview - Displays screenshots of websites beside search likes
Tab Mix Plus - Improved tabs
View Cookies - Adds a "Cookies" tab to View Page Info
Customise Google - What it says on the tin
EditCSS - Dynamically edit the CSS of a site - useful for web development

Problem with IETab is that you have to have IE... so when I'm coding on my laptop (LAMP), it don't work...

I was wrong earlier when i said "here is a complete list of topics" when talking about stumbleupon, I found out there are actually much more than that.
