Yeah, I did that for a while, but at one point I started getting nothing but repeats on the legislation... I though I put my nation on vacation mode, but apparently not, as it's been deleted. My friend still keeps his by logging in every couple days: http://www.nationstates.net/stingingflea
He actually worked out the different legislations to get that description... doesn't do any new ones (I think he started another nation...) :o

That reminds me of the Civilisation games. I love those sorts of games, you can waste hours of your day just managing the whole thing. Great find.

I had the same problem. A lot of the same crap over and over again. I was even the United Nations rep for my region for a while, but when the dust settled, I got bored with it. After 90 days or something it gets deleted.

Fun game if they improved it some more.

Yeah, seems a little too simple at this point, but still entertaining. It could be a lot of fun with some polish.

I'm over here. I'd like to get more issues, so I can have a better look on how my country would be. Of course I rule in my country, and no one else has much to say when it comes to politics, but I do mean well for the people and wish them to be very happy with me on all other things.
