Converter

It's a really temperature and metric unit converter. I developed it in Java. I didn't see anyone post any type of converter so I thought I'd be the first one. I know it's simple but go easy on me. I just want to share my project with my community.
It's not even large at all. It's a jar file so I hope you like it. I included the source too. |
I didn't look at the code but the interface looks nice and clean
|
looks good, i tried to break it by putting text in the field.... you covered that base :)
|
Thanks for the comments.
@IR: I used the InputVerifier interface to take care of that ;) |
You know java programs would be alot better if you set the look and feel to the platform its running on. Other than that, its a great little app.

Yeah, i hate the default java look and feel. Its not that hard to make a java app look like any other app from the OS its running on. It just looks more professional in my opinion. But my apps always look like a dogs dinner so even on Mac OS X they still look pants.

Pants == great?, "dogs dinner" == ??? Adak |
Yes, thanks for the suggestion about the look and feel. I know it's not hard to make it like it's on platform look and feel. I will make it happen.
A lot of people don't like the Swing Look and Feel. Does anyone here do? |
I actually do like the Swing look, I don't know why it just looks good.
