Flashing Programming Name

does anybody know how to make the programs (my Vb program) name flash like when a new message arrives on MSN.

I think you mean for the program's item on the taskbar to flash, right, as a way of notifying the user of a change? (navy/grey for mine)

with gaim if you allow email check it will tell you if you have new mail. doesnt MSN messanger tell you if you get new mail?

Quick and dirty way to do it:
FORM.setfocus

This will cause the entry in the task bar to flash if the program isn't in focus.

I think that is just because it is an old post. Newer versions of Windows will still support this.
