Edit: By the way, its a program to allow students to submit assignments to the server. I just realized that I've been overly cryptic for no real reason....should really have been more direct with what I was trying to do. :p

It's not likely to remain constructive if you don't listen to your respondents and investigate the situation, which is not something normal web apps are allowed to do. If you want to get out of that sandbox, then you need to invest some of your time in understanding the whys and wherefores of it, bite the bullet, and undertake the process.
