if you're using visual studio you can turn off the "precompiled headers" option when you create the project (if you go through all the options screens). or:

you can click on project/properties/C++/precompiled headers and turn it off there.

yeah, i asked this question aways back and got shitty responses also.

also, just the free C++ part of VS may not bother you with this, i don't remember.
