MonoDev/Min for SP@ to work with vb05

Hey yall, I'm wanting to try vb on linux and I know Mono does C# and I know that they was talkign about also doing vb with it to. So my question, Are they doing it, and is it done? If so where can I find it?

Also, Windows XP SP2 = 266mb's I'm on dialup, and my sp2 disk is broken, I need sp2 to install vb.net 05. Is there a minimum sp2 that includes just the updates required to run vb 05? Because its hard to dl it on dialup lol

Thanks
