Installing a package in java?

How can I install a package in java?

I tried googling but I got all these things referring to linux, and Im using windows xp.

any help would be appreciated

a package? Use a import statement

oh yes, thats actually kind of silly of me, I already know how to do that

actually I just realized my problem is stemming from another source, I installed the JDK in a seperate partition of the harddrive than the IDE, I wonder what I was thinking doing that?
