:huh: Hi, Im a noob to the programming community, Iv'e had a lot of interest in it since 5th grade, I read books at the Library in VB all the time, now that I want to start again, I do not have to right sources to make it from. (The VB6 Program)

Im sure as programmers you guys know what this program would be called and where I can get a demo online, or a free version

I think you're fine. I think you'll need Visual Studios to program in VB. I don't know if there is a demo version, and I couldn't tell you where to download it from since that would be advocating warez, and that's against the rules. All I can tell you is look around. Microsoft Visual Basic 6... it is not free, nor is there a demo version of the software... you may be able to find our purchase the Academic version of the software for REALLY cheap... you may even be able to just download it which may be legal.... you can get it with most intro to VB books you find at the bookstore though.

I am not sure that there are free VB like compilers either, though I will admit that I am not honestly capable of answering that question.

I think it might compile as well, i don't know though since it was IR that posted that thing about Sharp Develop in a different thread. I have never used it myself.
