I think the problem you are going to come across very quickly is finding people who actually have the talent to do this. Because if they have the talent, they will have jobs where they are making money, and won't have any time to put towards this. And if they did have time to put towards a side project, it wouldn�t be for a 13 yr old. I have worked on a Multiplayer First Person Shooter on the team doing the network programming, and it took hundreds and hundreds of hours to complete. People would not want to do that work not knowing if they are not going to get paid at all... and a MMORPG would take way longer.
