Hi all

At this moment i'm migrating systems for a client i was looking into automating a task which needs to be done for each user profile and this is setting the Power profile for each user

i've sorted the way of automating the power scheme by first making it on a new build then exporting it then importing it onto the new machine using POWERCFG /I...

however the advanced settings of "when closing the laptop lid" needs to be set to another setting = do nothing this will not get carried over in the scheme.pow file

i have automated the above using vbs and would like to automate the advance setting

1>Is this possible ?
2>Would it need to be a regedit?

thanks in advance

Since i dont have windows ATM, and dont plan on installing it within the next lifetime. I cant be of much help besides saying that you should figure out where the information is stored that governs this setting, and then you'll know what to change. Obvious i know, but, you might have to decompile a program that can do it and see how it works...
