C++ Formal training/qualifications???

Hi,

I'm an engineer wanting to gain formal training in C++ through home learning. I am having difficulty getting a course which will provide formal recognition that i have obtained a certain standard.

I was able to find a course on Java that upon completion would make me a Sun Approved Java programmer - but Java is not particularly useful in engineering - as C++ is still the main language.

Can anyone ppoint me towards a home learning course which will provide me with a qualification I can put on my CV/resume?

Thanks,

FM

Is there a C++ certification? I've never heard of one...

Nor have I. You can become Microsoft-approved , Sun-approved, Apple-approved... you get the point. But no one owns C++, so I doubt there's an official qualification.
