Yeah I started learning C first because that had really helped me and got more really into C++. Yeah the reason I got into using C++ is because im learn C++ to start for gaming programming probably AI programming or something else so I needed to know C++ for that even though you can pretty much do it in C but C++ is morely recommended for gaming,
