That's what I was thinking to. I brought "Learning Perl" on eBay. I think the book is great so far and they are very straight-foward with it. I'm looking into a lot of different language in seeing which is the best one for me to tackle right now. I would mainly use Perl for CGI programming though PHP has caught my eye.
