I'm an atheist. One of the reasons is that there are so many different religions, and everyone says there's is the right one, although they have no proof. I'm not against religion, though. One of my friends is the type of Christian that will never swear because it's against the Bible, but I don't think any less of him.

By the way, I'm glad to see that 25% of us are atheists.

there are plenty more points but that would take some time and space to list them
So what you are saying is that you have to please Allah to get into Paradise, right?

Evolution, this is what I believe.

I'm not dogging anyone's views. I believe that -as long as it doesn't harm anyone else- everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and I have respect for anyone that can live their life in a certain way.

I believe in evolution, also. The first life on Earth lived about 6 billion years ago, and the first humans lived about one or two million ago. There was plenty of time for evolution, so how could anyone say that it's not possible?

Well, it's true that if you study evolution in a rational way you'll find that it's logical and there was a possibility (although very small) that we humans have evolved.

I believe many of you here agree with the theory of evolution. Well, I would like to ask could evolution and religion work together, I mean that God started all this from the begining?

Personally I don't think they can sit together. One kinda cancels the other one out.

One thing to add which has always bugged me.

When I was in secondary school I would have double science on a monday morning and be taught that we all evolved from slime or something. Then I'd have a fag break, come back for Religion Education and be taught that god put everything on the Earth. Don;t see how that can be right?

So if you forget one of those things you don't go to heaven? Or what happens? Or what happens when you do prohibited stuff? You may take your time, I'm listening.

Yeah harming someone is bad, glad to hear you respect others equally.

Anything is possible, it takes as much (even more for me) faith to believe evolution as any other religion.

Yes although, macro and micro evolution are different, I believe that a person can change like much, but not from monkey/ape to human much.

Did you consider that God put the slime here with embedded instructions for how to evolve? :p
