WOW. It's just soooooo different...
I haven't used VB for a while, since version 4 back in the late 90's. I decided to pick it up again as I want to develop a couple of programs for my pocket PC, so I got a copy for Visual Studio .NET 2003 from EBay.
I've loaded it in, started it up and all I can say is, where do I start? VB has completely changed and it's going to take me quite a while to get back in to it again. Okay, I expected some changes, but the whole language syntax seems very very different. Carl

Visual Basic .NET is quite different from Visual Basic - it uses the .NET API, instead of the native Visual Basic API found in VB 6 and below. A quick Google found this:
http://www.gotdotnet.com/team/VB/ Let me know if it helps. |

Hi ooble. Thanks for the link, it should help a great deal. I'm sure I can ask questions on here if I get stuck anyway.
