I am trying to figure out in a problem as follows:

A user have enter a minimum population number into a textfield.

Next in our code we have to:

-Open the file
-Read three fields in each record and display all the states that have at least the specified minimum population

-Then display the output in a listbox.

i.e. for instance if you enter 10000 and Florida has more than 10000 people display florida and the other states in the listbox

Any input would be helpful
