What is your favorite IDE? I must clearly give my bet to #Develop, or SharpDevelop. Mono is active to port it to GNU, and I can't wait untill its completed.
Other good IDE's are anjuta and Emacs. What's your fav.? Kriss

vi ..... but for real, full blown, IDE fun I like Eclipse.

vim and gcc... i never could get eclipse to work right... and neven did like IDE's themselves anyways...

(X)Emacs + cvs + Xterm
![]() That's my Integrated Development Enviroment, I'm not a fan of point and click IDE's (like VisualBasic/C++/Studio) - to much stuff I don't use ![]()

well that depends normally i perfer jst using VIM to do my coding in when im using linux and textpad when im in windows. but i am also a VB programmer so i use Visual Basic alot too

I use nano/mcedit/gedit and gcc...no IDE here. When I did java I used netbeans, though, and it's pretty nice.

I just remembered from reading "netbeans":
I used jGRASP when I had java programming in school - quite nice for java, though nothing I use to day.

For me there's just not any other choice than emacs. It's qutie simply the best. I can do anything I would ever want to do with it, and I never ever have to use a mouse.
