Yup, I too recommend:

The C Programmng Language, second edition

and

C Primer Plus

I used both of these when I was learning the language. For the most part, I used C Primer Plus to explain something that K&R either brushed over or something I didn't comprehend.

Again....I heard from a lot of people "The C Programming Language" is one of the best books on C.
