The new "Express" line of VS family members are free, but they're NOT full versions. In fact, they're painfully stripped down, although from a learning standpoint they serve their purpose. And an upgrade from 6.0 is definately a must, Amru, do it soon!

now, DaWei was actually telling me before that they're giving away Visual C++ away for free! Is this the "express edition" or the actual Visual C++?!
