if i had a database (access database) on my domain if anyone found out where it was the could download it by going www.mydomain.com/database.mdb....or if the rip the site the database will come down too....
i've heard of chmod, (kinda forgot all about it) ... How do i do a chmod ...and will it protect it from being ripped ...and do i do the chmod through the FTP ? (i'm not in controll of the server it will eventually be uploaded to) |

Last time I checked, chmod was a unix/linux command. I think they meant applying the command to the webserver itself. Google for answers, because there are thousands of tutorials out there on it.
