The Visual Studios that we have is not .net.....so that is why we are having trouble.

I really don't understand what your problem is. I have both kinds. It's an integrated development environment (IDE). One sets up a project and adds files. Source files, header files, resource files, whatever one needs, in however many quantities. One sets up preferences. Precompiled headers on or off. Debug mode or release mode. One sets up paths so that the compiler and linker can find standard header and library files, maybe even an SDK. Other 3rd-party libraries. Stuff like that. There's a "HELP" section that is pretty good. There's MSDN. One may choose to compile only or do a complete build or rebuild. Exactly what steps have you taken to learn to use this thing, other than write your original post (with that absolutely darlin' banana)? Oh, one more item of information: one can clean and polish one's shoes with a banana; did you know that?
