Hi All,

I am currently working as Windows Systems Administrator.

The reason for this post is , I have plans to move into Software Development in the comming months , In this process I want to learn good programming skills. I do not want to go with market demand .

My main goal is to be a real programmer who has the ability to learn any new programming language in very less time. This is because in my carrer I have seen very less developers who can do this and I want to be one of them.

All said , I need your help in choosing my first programming language . I appriciate guidelines to achive my target rather than debating on which is good programming language. I am writing this after reading many post on the same topic. None of them could really help me so far. I am totally new to programming and most important thing I want to be good in programming concepts in next 5 months so that I will be able to take up tough decisions in regard with my carrer.
