Masm

Hi ive been learning the basics of assembly at uni
and i have to complete a project, and the deadline is the start of next semester.
so i need to do some finishing touches at home.
I was given a folder from uni that contains MASM.
but i dont know where to install it to my computer or if i need to?
the computers at uni just had a link to click on, for MASM32

P.s any advice on getting a users input would be helpful to.

Pretty weird, knowing assembly but not where to put a program. The best is to put the exe in a folder in your OS's searchpath, e.g. C:\Windows. In the command prompt, you can just type masm32, instead of C:\Program Files\Software Development\Assemblers\masm\masm32 (for example).
