Yeah grumpy, I accidentally broke that rule, whiel declarign variables today.
It was an integer and when compield using GCC, it reset it to the number 1. But when someone else compiled it on Windows, it turned it into a quite high number. So this sort of backs up your statement about it producing undefined behaviour.

Sorry Klipt; my comments were intended for Klarre, and I agree you did nothing wrong. I used your name in vain initially, and fixed that fairly quickly by editing my post in the time allowed. You obviously managed to read the incorrect draft version. I apologise for that.
