One thing is true: the GIMP and Photoshop are both far more advanced than Microsoft Paint.

They are? I should upgrade to Microsoft Paint then because I don't want advanced.

For all of our 3D stuff at school we use Maya. The learning curve is not that bad...but any 3D modeling program you use is gonna take a little to learn...it's not something you can just start using and animate/model something quickly. If your going beyond modelling boxes, circles, and triangles, then your going to be putting a lot of time in. But it's a lot of fun. Good Luck.
