VBA? VB Express? What has the world come to. If an IDE's second official selling point is "Fun" it's a sign to stay away (why would I want an RSS enabled screensaver?). That said Gambas does have a purple shrimp mimicking MSOffice, but at least it doesn't go "it looks like you're writing an Interop assembly". If you're serious about using VB.NET, as opposed to believing you can actually program using only flow diagrams:
1. Pay for (or acquire) the full uncrippled version.
2. Download the SDK and run SharpDevelop as your IDE (no debugging yet though

).
