how do i add a logon screen to folders so if i click on it, the logon will pop up. i have created the logon screen. is there a segment of code or a way to reconfigure the folder to do this. thanks for any help

Come on, Brent. There isn't enough information in your post to spit on, much less answer any kind of technical question. Perhaps we should assume the platform and OS and application in question, or perhaps it's just me, I should remember it. Unfortunately, I don't. Someone else might.

sorry....im using open watcom compiler, windows xp. i dont have the source code with me this very moment, but i will post it soon

so you want the logon to show up when you open a folder in the windows explorer?

yes, i want to have it show up, and then allow you to use the folder after you have entered a username and password

Brent: You would need to consider what would happen if someone used a DOS command prompt too.
